They’re called Chop Chop, out of Los Angeles via Boston, and they’re playing in Omaha with Tara Vaughan and TBA on July 3rd. Catherine from the group contacted me via Hear Nebraska and is mailing me a CD to play on KZUM.

At least in the sense of referring to an adult woman. At very least in situations when I wouldn’t call a man of the same age and standing “boy”.
It’s been very eye-opening to see how pervasive “girl” is. It might not be a huge deal, but I find it a little troubling.
